As a first generation immigrant, Kelvin understands the difficulties that newcomers have when they come and settle in Canada. He, himself, has experienced many of the same challenges. As owner and director of KTI English, Kelvin is on your side and ready to help in any way possible. Newcomers often have issues with landlords, managers, etc. Whatever situation you might have that is hard to communicate in English, Kelvin is here to help with professional mediation and negotiation.
Tara, Academic Director
Born and raised in Canada, Tara began teaching ESL immediately after graduating from the University of Alberta. Now with almost 20 years of experience in the ESL industry teaching people of all ages from dozens of countries around the world, Tara has honed her teaching skills and prides herself on her ability to connect with students. Using real life examples and situations, she is able to help students understand grammar and vocabulary in ways that resonate and stick with them, helping them to better understand and use them in their own lives.
